-I'm a research scientist at the  [http://www.crrel.usace.army.mil/facilitieslabstestsites/center-rsgis.html Remote Sensing GIS Center] and I specialize in Open Source GIS advocacy, Open Source development, and integration with Oracle database backends (spatial). I'm currently on the project steering committee for the [http://mapserver.org MapServer] project and have contributed to the MapServer code base (for oracle spatial support) and the [http://gdal.org GDAL] code base (also for oracle spatial support). I'm also heavily involved in the open source project [http://pointcloud.org PDAL], which functions similar to the GDAL library but for N dimensional point cloud data.
