OSGeo Experience and Roles:

I am a member of FoSS4G community since 2013.I was in the organizing committee of FOSS4G Asia held at Asian Institute of Technology , Bangkok during my doctoral studies in Remote Sensing and GIS. I have conducted various workshops on Open source GIS using Quantum GIS, and promoted FOSS4G. I am currently working as a faculty in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering at International Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India. We have recently launched center of excellence in Geoinformatics at our campus and have conducted two workshops namely: Inaugural International Workshop on FOSS4G for Digital & Skill India during 17-18 August 2018 and 2 Days Workshop on Open Source GIS Applications for Monitoring, Evaluation & Research during 11-12 October 2018.
