An-Min Wu, Ph.D., is a lecturer at Spatial Sciences Institute, University of Southern California. An-Min teaches Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIST) courses in the online graduate certificate and MS programs, as well as in the interdisciplinary PhD program in Population, Health and Place. She has worked as a GIS analyst, mapping engineer, and mapping project manager. Her teaching experience and research interests are in the integration of environmental/soil sciences and geographic information science for a sustainable living environment. She has applied various open-source programs (e.g. SAGA-GIS, R, Python etc.) in her research and teaching, and look to get more involved in OSGeo.
