* The highlight of 2012 was the [http://rendez-vous-osgeo-qc.org/ Rendez-vous OSGeo-Quebec 2012] in Saguenay on October 17-18, organized in collaboration with [http://www.visiongeomatique.com/ VisionGeomatique 2012]. This second edition of Rendez-vous OSGeo-Quebec consisted in a dedicated stream of presentations as part of the program of the larger VisionGeomatique event (~350 visitors), and the OSGeo-Qc room was packed for both days of the event.
* Held local meetings around the province:

* Elections for the [[Comite_direction_chapitre_quebecois|Quebec Local Chapter Steering Committee]] took place between ??? and ??? 2012. The current steering committee members for 2012-2013 are:

		+	The Quebec Chapter was formed in 2008 with the aim of promoting OSGeo's vision and mission in the province of Quebec, Canada. The chapter's main activity is called "Rendez-vous OSGeo-Quebec" and is usually held in the form of an OSGeo track as part of major GIS conferences in the territory. The group also organizes meetups with short lightning talks about open source geospatial projects and technologies in a happy hour setting.
