** Title: Wolne oprogramowanie w geoinformatyce - II konferencja, Współczesne trendy i perspektywy rozwoju (in Polish)
** Title (EN translation): 2nd Conference "Open Software for Geodesy and Geoinformation Sciece", "New trens and Perspectives"
** Description: This was the second conference on open software organized by the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science, Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, and the Polish Chapter of OSGeo. The conference had Polish audience, however it had also an international scope. Foreign guests, including the representatives of national mapping agencies of the European Union member states were invited to deliver plenary lectures. The conference was also an occasion for OSGeo Chapter Poland annual meeting.

** Place: Department of Climatology and Atmosphere Protection, University of Wroclaw, Wrocław, Poland
** Title: QGIS Developer Meeting, aka 'QGIS Hackfest'
** Description: The meeting of Quantum GIS project members. An occasion for OSGeo Chapter Poland unofficial meeting.

* Event: Workshop
** Date: 13-16.09.2010
** Place: Department of Climatology and Atmosphere Protection, University of Wroclaw, Wrocław, Poland
** Title: Scientific Workshop 2010 "Spatial Analysis with GRASS"
** Description: The workshop was organized by the Laboratory for Geographic Environment Spatial Modeling Methods, University of Wroclaw and Wroclaw's GRASS Users Group (WGUG). The workshop was also backed by ENRIS of the Royal University of Stockholm, and by OSGeo Chapter Poland. It was split into three parts: lectures (with some presentations of submitted works), practical classes and individual consultations (where participants could develop their own ideas and work on their own projects). During four days of workshop 4 lectures and 10 shorter presentations were presented. There were introductory courses for new GRASS users in the first day of workshop.

** OSGeo projects promotion during geomatic events (conferences, GIS Day) and in media (blogs, press).
** Active participation in localization of FOOS4G packages
