Deze laatsten houden zich met o.a. de inhoud bezig. Het Local Team is dus ad-hoc en meestal een groep vanuit een Universiteit waar ook de conferentie wordt gehouden. Ook social event was leuk in het originele Bauhaus gebouw. Opvallend is de hoge mate van kennis onder de ontwikkelaars en de grote hoeveelheid software die zij ontwikkelen voor zowel OpenStreetMap (e.g. JOSM) als regulier, e.g. MapProxy, MapBender en deegree.
