For the next summit, such a video may be prepared for all OSGeo's GSoC projects.

But, we are fortunate that one of our GSoC students (2017-2018) is now working for google. Although our plan was not to go to the offices, when he arrived to the summit I was with some mentor/students (from other organizations), and they were so interested on how he accomplish "the impossible". It is amazing to see how the young eyes lit and how their expectations in life are changing for more than what they were aiming for. That change of perspective on those that are "beginning" in life, what can I say, it makes us as mentors to go on doing what we are doing.

 An interesting conference was: "How to get more women* interested in FOSS"; as first points trying to detect the point of origin that is a stopper for non male genders to participate, not only in FOSS, stoppers like: family, society, cultures, laws etc. and how we can deal with the problem. I took my Mexican (girl) doll to the summit and during the lightning talks I left her on the stage when I made the OSGeo presentation: "a woman on all lightning talks". That didn't stop there: on the second session, the Google organizer of the lightning talks asked me to place the doll on stage again.

 Org admins of [https://python-gsoc.org/ GSoC python activities] have reported about tools to organize automagically GSoC over the coding period (e.g. weekly report reminders, etc). A closer look at such tools should be done for the next OSgeo's GSoC activities.
