Derimod forventes der at være et stort ønske blandt mere erfarne GIS brugere, for at holde sig opdateret med hvad der findes af GIS software, herunder også Open Source GIS.&lt;br&gt;Udviklere og forskere i privat og offentligt regi vil ofte være interesseret i at bruge OSGeo software. Der er OSGeo software inde i mange GIS produkter, både i åbne og proprietært software, derfor vil udviklere være blandt dem som har lyst til, eller behov for, at sætte sig mere detaljeret ind i OSGeo produkter.&lt;br&gt;Forskere beskæftiger sig, af naturlige årsager, ofte med det nyeste og det som kun er 'på vej', derfor vil de naturligt være interesserede i OSGeo software, hvor man kan se kildekoden og deltage i samt påvirke udviklingen af det enkelte software.&lt;br&gt;Endeligt forventes studerende at have interesse i OSGeo software. Studerende er ofte interesseret i gratis software, af den simple grund at de har få økonomiske midler til rådighed for deres projekter. Det blev dog klart at kun brugere på et vist teknisks niveau ville være interesserede i overhovedet at overveje hvilken GIS software de bruger. Det forventes fx at den gennemsnitlige slutbruger anvender det GIS som stilles til rådighed, uden at forholde sig kritisk til om det er den GIS-tekniske bedste løsning. Derimod forventes der at være et stort ønske blandt mere erfarne GIS brugere, for at holde sig opdateret med hvad der findes af GIS software, herunder også Open Source GIS.&lt;br&gt;Udviklere og forskere i privat og offentligt regi vil ofte være interesseret i at bruge OSGeo software. Der er OSGeo software inde i mange GIS produkter, både i åbne og proprietært software, derfor vil udviklere være blandt dem som har lyst til, eller behov for, at sætte sig mere detaljeret ind i OSGeo produkter.&lt;br&gt;Forskere beskæftiger sig, af naturlige årsager, ofte med det nyeste og det som kun er 'på vej', derfor vil de naturligt være interesserede i OSGeo software, hvor man kan se kildekoden og deltage i samt påvirke udviklingen af det enkelte software.&lt;br&gt;Endeligt forventes studerende at have interesse i OSGeo software. Studerende er ofte interesseret i gratis software, af den simple grund at de har få økonomiske midler til rådighed for deres projekter. Lokale findes når vi ved hvor mange der ønsker at deltage. &lt;br&gt;Vi vil henvende os til Geoforum og bede om at få en session på næste Kortdage.
