Dependiendo de las características y contenido de las reuniones se intenta buscar un lugar adaptado. Hasta ahora, Geoinquietos Cantabria se ha estado realizando en espacios cedidos por la Universidad de Cantabria (salas en el Departamento de Geografía, Urbanismo y Ordenación del Territorio en la Escuela de Ingenieros de Caminos y en el Edificio Interfacultativo), en Santander. Si en las reuniones se realiza alguna presentación se intenta contar con un lugar que disponga de un proyector que pueda conectarse a algún ordenador portátil.

=== Key Accomplishments ===

2012 has been a very positive year for the UK chapter. We have exceeded 150 members on our mailing list and we continue to hold regular IRC meetings, helping our members to stay in touch. We also had another very successful event at [http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/osgis/conference-archive/osgis-2012.aspx OSGIS 2012] in Nottingham where the chapter's Annual General Meetings are held. Our stall at [http://www.lancs.ac.uk/gisruk2012/ GISRUK] was well received, with lots of Live DVDs and leaflets being handed out.

In June, our bid to host the annual international [http://www.foss4g.org FOSS4G] Conference was successful - FOSS4G will be coming to the UK in 2013! We are pleased to have a strong local organising committee and we are confident that we can deliver an exceptional event on behalf of the global OSGeo community.

In September, Jo Cook stepped down as the UK's chapter representative having been in post since the chapter's foundation in 2006. Ian Edwards has taken on the role for the following year. This will allow Jo, and other key members of the UK committee, to focus on preparations for FOSS4G in September 2013.

FOSS4G 2013 will draw extra attention to the UK chapter and help us to continue to raise the profile of open source geospatial software in the UK. We anticipate that we will gain more members as a result of the event and we also anticipate that there will be new interest in the chapter following the event.

We are always on the lookout for new members, and new events where we can promote OSGeo. If you would like to take an active role on the OSGeo:UK committee, or to find out more about the way we work, be sure to come along to our annual general meeting at the end of FOSS4G in Nottingham (Sunday 22nd September - [http://2013.foss4g.org/dates/ OSGeo chapter meetings]). *Too much dependency on too small key members. We need to increase active members.
*Korean chapter is still not legal entity, therefore there are several limitations to do our activities. We need to change our status to legal entity in near future.
*Need to expand activities to international scale. Our chapter has very talented members however their activities are somewhat isolated here in Korea.
*We need to seek stable revenue source to run our chapter. Our chapter financial is highly dependent on limited donation sources.

*We definitely need some speakers for FOSS4G Korea 2012.
*We hope more open source GIS related event could be held here in Korea or in Asia region.

===Outlook for 2012===
*We may see very prosperous year in 2012. As awareness of open source GIS increase here in Korea rapidly, many organizations want to cooperate with our chapter.
*In 2012, we may attract more members to our chapter and could run our chapter in more systematic way.
*We'll explore the possibility of hosing FOSS4G 2015 in Korea with other GIS related society like KSIS(Korean Spatial Information Society).
