== Missão ==
Este grupo de trabalho tem como principal missão o estabelecimento de objectivos, procedimentos, metodologias e projectos relacionados com a temática das Autarquias.

== Objectivos ==

* Dar a conhecer boas práticas de utilização de GFOSS em Autarquias Portuguesas.
* Identificar tecnologias GFOSS que cubram o ciclo de vida de Informação Geográfica numa Autarquia: Internet, Sistema de Gestão de Bases de Dados (SGBD), Desktop e Aquisição de Dados (PDA).
* Identificar metodologias de adopção de tecnologias GFOSS que garantam a interoperabilidade com os sistemas já existentes.
* Promover a utilização de standards.
* Identificar e apresentar aplicações vocacionadas para a temática das Autarquias.
* Identificar e apresentar documentação existente, Portuguesa ou não, no domínio das Autarquias.
* Metadados, regras do INSPIRE e Modelos de Dados.

* Criar uma lista de bons exemplos de Autarquias que estejam a utilizar GFOSS nos seus serviços, e correspondentes contactos de pessoas envolvidas.
