Originally from Springfield, Ohio, Langdon Sanders, currently serves as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst for [http://www.forsythco.com/ Forsyth County, Georgia].&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
He formally worked at the City of Kettering, Ohio as a GIS Technician and the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Autority for the paratransit service under the Americans with Disabilities Act.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He completed the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio with Geographic Information Systems certification and earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas.&lt;br /&gt;

The mission of the Southeast US OSGEO Group is to build upon the [http://www.osgeo.org/content/foundation/about.html Mission and Goals] of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo) by providing local networking and support opportunities and by advocating for Open Source GIS software and OSGeo initiatives through regional groups and conferences.&lt;br /&gt;
