I'm using OSGeo Live DVD as a startup for a small GIS server under Linux, Currently working with OSGeo Live 7, updated to Ubuntu 13.04 with postgresql 9.1, QGis 2.1 Master and Geoserver 2.3. Data is mostly vector related to automotive transit, delivered via web services with openlayers/php/postgis programs. Working to update to postgis raster and pgrouting 9.1. The project is not very well supported yet, nor widespread, but it is the only one at the time.

I'd like to learn more about open GIS systems, and attend to some conferences, Regional conference would be easier.

The project is not very well supported yet, nor widespread, but it is the only one at the time.

I'd like to learn more about open GIS systems, and attend to some conferences and to increase the use of FOSS4G in Latin America. Regional conferences would be easier.
